Editorial Policy
This page explains how we decide what to publish, how we handle commercial relationships, and what to do if we get something wrong.
Who writes here
Every article carries the name of the person who wrote it and a profile explaining what they cover. Nothing is published anonymously, and nothing is published under a fake byline.
How we choose topics
We write about things our readers are trying to do. Questions that arrive by email and WhatsApp become articles more often than anything else.
Sponsored and guest content
We accept guest posts and sponsored features. All of them are labelled on the article itself, and outbound links in sponsored articles are marked so search engines treat them as paid placements. Payment buys publication, never a particular conclusion — we will decline a piece rather than publish a claim we do not believe.
Affiliate links
Some links earn us a commission at no cost to you. Whether a link earns a commission never affects whether we recommend something.
What we will not publish
Content written to manipulate search rankings rather than inform a reader. Undisclosed advertising. Claims about health, money or law that we cannot support. Anything that attacks an individual.
Corrections
If we publish something inaccurate, we correct it and note what changed and when. Tell us — the contact page and our WhatsApp number both reach a person.
Updates
Articles about fast-moving subjects are revisited periodically. Substantially rewritten articles show an updated date.
